Blackhawks, Red Wings Game 7: Watch ONLINE LIVE STREAM Here / Veteran Blackhawks Force Young Red Wings into Game 7
After tying the series up and winning two in a row, the Chicago Blackhawks will look to make history and comeback to win Game 7. It's in their building, the United Center; one of the loudest arenas in the NHL. Game time tonight is 8 PM ET.
The Blackhawks stars, who've seemed absent since their 4-1 Game 1 victory, are finally starting to take over the tail end of the series against the Red Wings. Toews is coming off really good back-to-back games. Even the role players, like wingers Andrew Shaw, and Bryan Bickell are stepping up their game to rally the Blackhawks to Game 7. After giving up a pretty easy goal in the 2nd period of Game 6, goaltender Corey Crawford showed his stuff shutting out the Red Wings in period 3 to clinch a Game 7.
As for Detroit, the team looked tired in Game 6 against the Blackhawks. Tired is an understatement. The Red Wings have already played 14 games in the 2013 playoffs [two series went to Game 7]. That's a tough task for any team to overcome. Red Wings center Pavel Datsyuk and left winger Henrik Zetterberg were not very good in Game 6. That has to change if they want to win Game 7 against the surging Chicago Blackhawks.
The Red Wings can only count on goaltender Jimmy Howard for so long before the team needs to start scoring more goals. Howard's been as good as an goalie in the game but can't be the only contributor.
