The 2013 NHL Western Conference Finals shift to Los Angeles, where the Kings have been virtually unbeatable. The Chicago Blackhawks are well aware of what the Kings can do at home, but are confident in their game as they aim for a 3-0 record in Game 3.

If you go back to the Detroit series, the Blackhawks were dominating first periods and dictating games, forcing turnovers in the wings to work their transition game. The Blackhawks lost Game 3 and 4 in Detroit because they couldn't score against Jimmy Howard.

The Blackhawks have figured out the right ways to beat Jonathan Quick. The Blackhawks have beaten Quick on the rush, on rebounds. They've beaten Quick in traffic, they scored on him clean. They've beaten him in transition and with a forecheck. Pretty much everything but a penalty shot. Mixed with no finishing from the L.A. Kings [possibly due to injuries], the home team could be looking at a 0-3 hole.

Kings goaltender, Jonathan Quick has an impressive home record. He has a 1-4 goals against ratio and .958 save %.

If the Blackhawks want to steal a game on the road, they'll need to score quickly. Nothing quiets an away crowd like scoring a goal in the first two minutes. One tactic used in hockey to energize your fans, is to hit your opponents. Unfortunately for the Kings, the Blackhawks are too fast and move the puck around very well, supplemented by an incredible transition game.

Tune in for tonight to see the Chicago Blackhawks travel to Los Angeles, to take on the Kings in Game 3 of the 2013 NHL Western Conference Finals at 8:00 PM CT on NBC Sports Network.
