Black Keys, Mumford and Songs, fun. Win Big @ 2013 Grammys

Folk-revival darlings Mumford & Sons, Jack White-wannabes the Black Keys, and newcomers fun. were the big winners at the 55th Grammy Awards Sunday night.

Last year Adele took home all six awards in which she was nominated. In 2013, Dan Auerbach of the Black Keys was the closest thing to a dominant force. Auerbach and his band the Black Keys won 4 awards including, "Best Rock Song" and "Best Rock Performance" for "Lonely Boy" off of El Camino, which also took "Best Rock Album". Auerbach also took home "Producer of the Year (Non-Classical)", beating out the favored DJ Diplo.

Mumford and Sons only took home a single award but may have had the biggest night. Their sophomore release "Babel" took home the most prestigious award "Album of the Year", putting them in the ranks of last years winner Adele with "21" and 2011's champ Arcade Fire with "The Suburbs". "Babel" also sold over 1.4 million records in 2012, making it the 4th best-selling album of last year.

The "Best New Artist" award went to the most overplayed radio band in recent years, Fun. They also took home song of the year with "We Are Young," whom they collaborated with hip-hop android Janelle Monae.

On the songs lyrical content, lead singer Nate Reuss: ""I don't know what I was thinking when I wrote the chorus to this song," said the 30-year old singer accepting the award. "If you're watching in HD, you can see our faces, and you can see that we're not very young."

The most anticipated moment of the night didn't even come from a nominee. Instead everybody was most excited about former N'SYNC member and sexy bringer-backer Justin Timberlake. His first album in more than half a decade, The 20/20 Experience, will be released in March. He collaborated with Jay-Z on the first single, "Suit & Tie" in the middle of the show.

Pop balladeer Taylor Swift won one award for "Best Song for Visual Media" while John Legend and Pink were shut out in their respective categories. There's always next year.
