BioWare's Dragon Age 3: Inquisition Release Date Delayed to November 18, 2014 for US and 21 for EU

BioWare's highly popular role-playing game franchise, 'Dragon Age', is set for a sequel this year, 2014. The next title, 'Dragon Age 3: Inquisition', will be published by Electronic Arts.

During the E3 conference last June, BioWare announced that the game will be coming out on October 7 of this year. Just recently however, BioWare has officially announced that the release of the game will be delayed by as much as six weeks. This delay has changed the release date of the game to November 21 in EU and November 18 for US.

Inquisition has been in development for four years now and it has fans excited to see what BioWare can deliver, especially with such a long development time. So to say, BioWare is aiming to create the "best Dragon Age experience ever," and such an endeavor would indeed take some time to accomplish.

Executive producer, Mark Darrah said in an open letter, "While this extra few weeks may not seem like a lot, I know the game you'll play will be all the better for it."

"That has meant completing huge amounts of game content, fixing bugs both big and small, and improving the overall experience. This last bit of time is about polishing the experience we want you to see," Darrah added to the letter.

The few extra weeks for the development left fans more anxious, and a little bit disappointed. The company is in the process of further polishing the game, ensuring that open spaces are as engaging as possible, and strengthening the emotional impact of the Hero's choices.

In case fans wants to get a 'Dragon Age' fix earlier, the company is expected to make an appearance on July 24's San Diego Comic Con. For details, visit the company's official web page here.
