For the Week of January 9 of the Billboard charts regarding Hot Christian Songs, Top Christian Airplays and Top Christian Albums, two were dethroned at the number one spot while one artist managed to maintain its place at the top rank of the chart.

For the Top Christian Album, last week's runner up, MercyMe's "MercyMe, It's Christmas," was able to triumph over the rest; dethroning Chris Tomlin's "Adore: Christmas Songs Of Worship" and thus, making its way to the number one spot. Casting Crowns' "A Live Worship Experience"(now on the third spot) and "WOW Hits 2016" by various artists (now on the fourth) just exchanged spots while "This Is Not A Test" by tobyMac secured the fifth spot of the chart.

Lindsey Stirling's "Hallelujah" jumped two notches up to take the number one spot in the Hot Christian Songs category. Jordan Smith's "Mary Did You Know" took a step back at the second spot in the chart. Jordan Smith's "Hallelujah" took a massive slip from number two to number 11 allowing the other songs to each improve their ranks.

Jordan Feliz stayed comfortable at the top spot of the Top Christian Airplay category with his "The River." Big Daddy Weave, Jeremy Camp and Casting Crowns also managed to stay at their spots at two, three and four, respectively, while "Noel" by Chris Tomlin Featuring Lauren Daigle improved by a notch in the top five spot of the chart.
