'Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Spoilers: Second First Kiss Sheldon and Amy, Actor Contract Negotiation

As 'The Big Bang Theory' is set to return for its Season 8, recent reports say that the main actors Jimmy Parsons, Johnny Galecki, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, and Kunal Hayyar, have yet to renew their contracts. It seems as though the actors are still in negotiations with CBS as they try to receive more money per episode.

Reports are saying that the five main actors are trying to strike a deal with the sitcom's producers for nearly a $1 million increase in fees per episode.

While the show made an appearance on a panel at the San Diego Comic-Con 2014, the aforementioned actors were not in attendance.

The Comic-Con, which was held on Friday, made a grand opening through a performance by the musical duo Garfunkel & Oates, with Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci performing an acoustic rendition of the song "If I Didn't Have You".

Steve Molaro, the show's producer, was somehow able to keep the upcoming season's story plot under wraps during the conference. He revealed, however, that the characters Sheldon (Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik) will be sharing another version of their first kiss, which, this time is far gentler and more tame.

Molaro also divulged that the characters Penny (Cuoco) and Leonard (Galecki) will not be getting married immediately into the upcoming season, in spite the couple's engagement in Season 7.

'The Big Bang Theory' producer also made a revelation that the show will not go on without a comic book store. It can be recalled that the show's iconic comic book store was burned down in the sitcom's previous season.

The upcoming installment is set to premiere on September 22, barring that all the actor contracts are settled by then.
