'Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Release Date, Spoilers: Sheldon Cooper Leaving? Even More Wedding Proposals Coming
Warner Bros TV's hit show Big Bang Theory is renewed for another three years, thanks to the 19.79 million viewers that put CBS on top of the most rated networks in the U.S.
Season 7 ended with fans speculating whether Sheldon Cooper is bound to leave the show, especially since his Caltech career is doubted.
Executive producer Steve Molaro quickly dismissed the speculations and said that the show has no plans in removing any character any time soon.
He told the Hollywood reporter, "Not at all. We're making the best episodes that we can come up with. I have to move forward assuming everyone is going to be there. I have no reason to think they won't be. That wasn't a factor."
Molaro also revealed that fans can expect more proposals coming up on Big Bang Theory's eighth season after Peggy (Kaley Cuoco) and Leonard's (Johnny Galecki) engagement.
Similarly, Big Bang casts may also see Melissa Rauch giving birth to Simon Helberg's first baby, reported FanShare.com. Rumors are not yet confirmed, but with the wedding, having their little bundle of joy is the easiest prediction one can make about the show.
CBS's top-rated geek comedy series will be up on the air until the 2016 to 2017 season, with rumors of $4 to $5 million of license fee per episode, according to a report by Deadline.com. The figures are high compared to the average fee of $350,000 per episode.
Big Bang Theory Season 8 returns to CBS in the Fall.
