‘The Big Bang Theory’ Season 8 Premiere Live Stream, Spoilers: CBS to Air Back-to-Back Episodes 1 & 2 Tonight
'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 will premiere with Episodes 1 and 2 at 8 pm ET on CBS Network this September, 22.
Fans saw Season 7 of 'The Big Bang Theory' end with Leonard (played by Johnny Galeki) proposing to Penny (Kaley Cuoco), while Sheldon (Jim Parsons) was seen leaving town on a train. So what do the show creators have in store for fans when it returns on Monday?
Recently, showrunner Steve Molaro disclosed some spoilers at the San Diego Comic Con. According to him, the new season starts 45 days from the events of the Season 7 finale.
Talking to the Hollywood Reporter, Molaro said, "He's (Sheldon) gone for 45 days, and it doesn't end as well as he'd like with him having all his belongings stolen while he was asleep in the sleeper car."
In the first episode, titled "The Locomotive Interruption," fans will see Leonard and Amy (Mayim Bialik) going out to bring back Sheldon. Molaro reveals that there will be a second kiss between Sheldon and Amy, and stated that this time around Sheldon will be "kinder and gentler" owing to what he experienced on the train.
In the second episode, titled "The Junior Professor Solution," fans will see Sheldon and Howard disagreeing over some issue, while Penny and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) will experience some problems because of their new working relationship.
It has been reported that the new season will also see Penny abandoning all her dreams of being an actress, and instead she deciding to work for Bernadette's pharmaceutical company with a view to earn some money.
The official synopsis of 'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 reads, "When Sheldon is forced to teach a class, Howard surprises everyone by taking it. In the meantime, the tension between Penny and Bernadette gives Amy a chance to play both sides."
