'The Big Bang Theory' Season 8 Spoilers, Latest News: 'The Septum Deviation'- Leonard & Sheldon's Injured Noses [VIDEO]

With Season 8 of the popular and comedic series 'The Big Bang Theory' nearing its finale, fans are wondering what's in store for them in the upcoming episode. "The Septum Deviation," Episode 9, is set to air on November 13 at 8/7c via CBS.

A recent preview of the episode reveals a lot of plot developments that the viewers of the show will surely enjoy. Beginning at the start, Leonard has injured his nasal septum and needs to go the hospital for minor surgery.

However, Sheldon feels that going through with the operation is a terrible idea, because it may lead to further complications and the risk is just not worth it. Evidently, Penny who feels otherwise plays along with Leonard until they can catch Sheldon off guard.

They tell Sheldon that they are going for a swim at the public pool nearby, knowing very well that Sheldon would decline the offer, the pair then take off the toward the hospital for the surgery.

Soon after Sheldon discovers that he's been duped and proceeds to the hospital himself with balloon in hand to visit Leonard. The sneak peek preview reveals that Amy has joined him at the hospital, and that Sheldon has stubbed his toe.

Already irritated, the worst possible thing happens, an earthquake begins to shake the hospital, causing Sheldon to get up in search of safety. Despite his desire to remain unharmed, Sheldon walks right into a glass door and seemingly breaks his nasal septum, which sets up the irony behind the episode.

While all this is going on, Raj, played by Kunal Nayya, has troubles of his own as he will be seen trying to deal with his parents' recent divorce. While this is tough for Raj, Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) catch wind of this and reevaluate their own marriage.

On a side note, in the previous episode, "The Prom Equivalency," some ground breaking headway was made in the relationship between Sheldon and Amy. While Amy attempted to tell Sheldon that she loved him, he surprises her and beats her to the punch as he tells her first.

When showrunner Steve Molaro was asked by TVLine whether or not the series will showcase some more intimacy between the two, he had this to say.

"I have no idea when that will be broached, but I have learned that if we're sweating and scared of a scene, that's usually a good sign to do it."

Clearly fans expect to see some exciting changes in their favorite 'The Big Bang Theory' characters before Season 8 ends. Check out the preview for "The Septum Deviation " below:
