"The Big Bang Theory" Season 7 Premiere SPOILERS: Release Date Set for September 26 / Will Sheldon and Penny Get Together While Leonard is Gone? [VIDEO]

CBS's comedy series "The Big Bang Theory" will return with the season 7 premiere on September 26, but can fans believe the spoilers? One spoiler claims that Sheldon and Penny will grow much closer with the absence of Leonard.  Leonard is away at sea at the beginning of the season 7 premiere, but what will happen when he returns? The first episode of season 7 is titled "The Hofstadter Insufficiency" and the description reads, "With Leonard away, Sheldon and Penny spend quality time together sharing intimate secrets. Also, Wolowitz helps Raj get over his ex-girlfriend." These "intimate secrets" that Sheldon and Penny share while Leonard is gone will apparently test Sheldon and Leonard's friendship in episode 2 when he returns from his trip.

Another season 7 spoiler that fans can look forward to is the return of Leonard's mother Beverly, played by Christine Baranski, returns for the season 7 premiere. There is some speculation that she is coming back into Leonard's life because of her interest in Sheldon. Her social awkwardness makes her a very similar character to Sheldon.
