There is brand new footage of rapper Jay Z allegedly being attacked by his wife Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles inside the elevator at Standard Hotel in New York City.  

The couple attended the Met Gala event last week when Solange was caught cursing at her brother-in-law while assaulting him.  The video also shows Beyonce looking on while the brawl takes place.

A man that appearing to be Jay Z's bodyguard then grabbed Solange in order to prevent her from hitting the rapper any further.

In the video, the Brooklyn Nets minority owner grabbed Knowles' foot when she attempted to kick him but he did not retaliate or attempt to fight back in the video.

After the shocking incident, Jay Z was seen driving in another car being escorted by security, while his wife Beyonce and Solange were taken to another car.

At present, there are no reports that explain what caused Solange to be so furious at Jay Z that she would attack him in a public elevator, but fans have taken to Twitter in their 100s creating Memes and funny photos trying to explain potential reasons what Jay-Z might have said to Solange to have caused the dispute. Others have made fun at Beyonce for seemingly just standing back and not getting involved in the fight. Some have claimed that she either agreed with Solange and that her husband deserved it, or she simply knew better than to get in the way of one of Solange's tirades. Either way the circumstances of the entire incident are still unknown for sure at this time.
