Jay-Z's new album Magna Carta Holy Grail released to the public yesterday and his wife, one of the most famous women on the planet, showed her support on her instagram. 

Beyonce' posted a cute childhood picture of Jay-Z with the caption.  "Platinum #MangaCarta."

Jay-Z struck a deal with Samsung to buy the first million copies of Magna Carta Holy Grail and give away to new customers. This has thrown a wrench in the sales counting process with Billboard on whether to count those first million copies as actual sales or not. 

"Our role as the chart of record is to set the rules, and hopefully even raise the level of play," Bill Werde, Billboard magazine's editorial director, said. "It is in this spirit that I say it wasn't as simple as you might think to turn down Jay-Z when he requested that we count the million albums that Samsung 'bought' as part of a much larger brand partnership, to give away to Samsung customers."

RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America) however has already sent Jay-Z a platinum plaque for a million copies sold. 

His new album is expected to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 yet again. Critics have had high praise for the record from early listens of the tracks. Jay-Z has yet again done a masterful job promoting and raising interest and hype for the new record starting with a short trailer teaser during the NBA playoffs. 

Jay-Z and Beyonce' were married on April 4, 2008 and had their first child together, Blue Ivy, on January 7, 2012. 

Beyonce' is working on material for her new album as well.
