Beyonce TIME Photo - Singers Makes '100 Most Influential People in the World' Cover

Overcoming competition from the likes of President Obama, Vladimir Putin, Hillary Clinton and Pope Francis, pop diva Beyoncé Knowles has landed on the cover of TIME magazine's 11th annual issue featuring the "100 Most Influential People in the World."

According to Facebook COO Sheryl Sandberg, Beyoncé just does not sit at the table, but builds a better one. "Today she sits at the head of the boardroom table at Parkwood Entertainment," Sandberg wrote in her brief article describing the talented singer.

A full-time mother, Beyoncé has proven that if a woman desires, she can be a mom and also have a successful career. Moreover, she has just completed her Mrs. Carter World Tour, which proved to be the highest earning concert tour of 2014.

Last December, 32-year-old Beyoncé surprised everyone when she announced the release of her latest album featuring 14 songs and 17 videos on Facebook and Instagram. Her new album was an instant hit, shattering all rules of the music industry and achieving record sales.

Sandberd wrote in her profile of the Queen Bey, "Beyoncé has sold out the Mrs. Carter Show World Tour while being a full-time mother. Beyoncé doesn't just sit at the table. She builds a better one."

The Facebook COO further says, "Her secret: hard work, honesty and authenticity. And her answer to the question, 'What would you do if you weren't afraid? appears to be 'Watch me. I'm about to do it.' Then she adds, 'You can, too.'"

One song on her new album includes lines written by novelist Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, which say, "We say to girls, 'You can have ambition, but not too much?'"

In the song, Beyoncé claims girls "run the world" and asserted, "I'm not bossy, I'm the boss."

Her fight for women's right are not confined to her songs, as Beyoncé raises her voice offstage too, urging women to be more independent and take the lead.

Beyoncé featured in the TIME 2013 list also. Saluting the singer, director Baz Lurhmann wrote, "When Beyoncé does an album, when Beyoncé sings a song, when Beyoncé does anything, it's an event, and it's broadly influential. Right now, she is the heir-apparent diva of the USA -- the reigning national voice."

This year's TIME's list includes 41 women. Other stalwarts who feature in the TIME's list include Hillary Clinton, Pharrell Williams, Jeff Bezos, FOX News' Megan Kelly, Miley Cyrus, actor Robert Redford, General Motors CEO Mary Barra and Malala Yousafzai.
