Beyonce Releases Surprise New Visual Album Via Instagram and Tumblr 2013: Each New Song Features a Music Video That Accompanies It [Video]

Girl power superstar Beyonce released her self-titled album last night and surprised everyone, including her most dedicated fans. No one knew that the pop star was going to be releasing a new album this year, much less last night. The album, titled Beyonce, fuses video and audio with 14 brand new, never before heard tracks that are all accompanied with music videos. This is big surprise for any Beyonce fan out there! Beyonce and her crew released this new surprise visual album over her Instagram and Tumblr and now it is available for download over the 2013 version of iTunes.

CNN.com reports, "Just after midnight on the east coast, the singer suddenly dropped a brand new 14-track self-titled album on iTunes. That's right - without any pre-promotion. As if this bombshell - which, in her Instagram announcement, she described as a 'visual album' - needed anything else, each song also comes with a music video and a download of BEYONCE will also score you three additional videos."

One of the tracks on Beyonce features her husband Jay-Z and another one features her daughter Blue Ivy. The fourteenth and final track of the album has her daughter on it, and we won't spoil the surprise for you, but it is worth listening to.
