BEYONCE Demands “Unflattering” Halftime Show Photos Be Removed From Internet
Beyonce, Queen B. Direct descendant of Amazonian Royalty. Where should I begin? Her beautiful voice? Diesel-powered body? Wonderful family, lovely new baby? She's the biggest superstar in the world with a sterling reputation. However, the last couple weeks haven't been treating the Destiny diva very kindly.
Shortly after the Super Bowl Halftime Show BuzzFeed.com posted a few "unflattering" photos of Beyonce's performance. Using high-speed, HD cameras the pictures reveal some awkward face and body gestures. Immediately, an inept member of Beyonce's PR team sent an email politely asking BuzzFeed to take down some of the photos.
"As discussed, there are some unflattering photos on your current feed that we are respectfully asking you to change. I am certain you will be able to find some better photos.
The worst are #5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 19, and 22."
Instead of removing the photos, BuzzFeed re-posted them on their site. Only the bad ones. Ever since the pictures have gone viral with BuzzFeed encouraging readers to send in photo shopped versions with Beyonce in even more embarrassing and "unflattering" situations.
In the wake of LipSyncGate where Beyonce sang the National Anthem at Obama's Second Inauguration to a backing track, the story could not have been timed any worse, especially those that work for Beyonce's PR team. Or should I say used to work.
