"Better Call Saul" Spinoff TV Show: "Breaking Bad" Spinoff to Feature Saul Goodman in Prequel

So far, the details about the spinoff TV show from "Breaking Bad" called "Better Call Saul" are sketchy and vague. The only details that are known so far is that the show will feature Bob Odenkirk as Saul Goodman in a prequel to "Breaking Bad." "Better Call Saul" will also have a lot of scenes inside a courtroom according to Peter Gould, the writer/producer of the new show.

Gould said, "I've been hanging around courtrooms lately, and it's not as broad as I thought originally. He dresses in a ridiculous way, he's got billboards, he's got ridiculous ads, but he is a shrewd customer."

Brian Cranston from "Breaking Bad" told audiences at last week's premiere of the documentary "No Half Measures" that he wanted "Breaking Bad" to go on for another season. But in the end he said that he was glad to "walk away on a high." The documentary "No Half Measures" is about the final season of "Breaking Bad" and how they filmed the show.

Vince Gilligan told the audience that "Breaking Bad" writers were working on the pilot to "Better Call Saul" that would air before the end of next year. He also revealed that Huell, played by Lavell Crawford, would make an appearance in the pilot as Goodman's sidekick. Gilligan also remarked that he "wished we had gotten Huell out of the safe house."
