'Battlefield: Hardline' Second Beta News: EA Set to Release Second Beta Test Soon

Electronic Arts and Visceral Games has officially announced that a second beta for "Battlefield: Hardline" is on the way.

Although the game company failed to reveal an official release date, they shared a few details regarding the upcoming beta. The beta will be open to all players and there is no need to wait for an invitation to access it. Once the beta arrives, all interested gamers can immediately join.

Other than that, the max progression levels are also open to everyone. Gamers who would like to play for extended hours to reach pro status can invest on it. The progress in the beta can be carried over to the full "Battlefield: Hardline" game.

There is also a Hotwire mode wherein players can shoot and stop criminals from escaping in fast vehicles. Visceral Games posted about the upcoming beta and said that its purpose is to try out different classes, explore new weapons and gain allies to help combat enemies.

The game creators added that in all honesty they want gamers to "play this beta to death." The release of the beta is intended to make the full release of "Battlefield: Hardline" a success. Visceral Games desires to assure fans that the launch will be the best ever.

"Battlefield: Hardline" is not for the faint of heart since it has been rated M, which means it is a game for mature players over 17-years-old. The content description hints that the game tackles violence and drug abuse and features bloody scenes and explicit language.

For players who are unfamiliar with the game play, it is a first-person shooter mode in the character of Nick Mendoza who is a law enforcer that is out to investigate drug trades. The gamer can use a variety of weapons such as pistols, machine guns and grenades.

"Battlefield: Hardline" revolves around drug investigation so players can expect scenes of snorting cocaine or smoking marijuana. Violence may be involved in choking scenes and combats.

The full release of "Battlefield: Hardline" is scheduled on March 17.
