Sony's PS3 and PS4 fixes included premature injuries appearing before the bullets even hit the target, friendly fire indicators off, and faulty death to players who technically were not "dead."

Specifically for the PS3, player ranking was fixed, camera glitches, and animation syncs have been set straight. For the PS4, problems pertaining to map flickering and respawning have been repaired.

Game developer DICE said they will be releasing a number of patches throughout the month of January in an effort to fix up a lot of the game's ongoing problems.

"While millions of players are enjoying Battlefield 4, we are aware that some players are experiencing issues with the game," wrote Junior Product Manager Tommy Rydling on Battlelog.
