Battlefield 4 Update Xbox 360 Patch Launched as DICE Looks into Windows PC Crashes
Battlefield 4 received another update for the Xbox 360 and DICE is also looking into new crashes in the PC Windows version of the game.
"We are working on a fix for an issue on PC that causes the game to freeze, resulting in a sound loop," read a banner at the top of the BattleLog site. "We will share more information once available."
The fix for the 360 will mainly fix game crashing in Team and Squad Deathmatch. According to Polygon, Defuse Mode, invisible walls, and missing sounds were also fixed.
Battlefield 4's latest patch was for the Windows PC last week, which was set to improve general stability, Mantle performance, and other issues.
However, yet again, gamers are complaining the update is causing problems for people who did not have any in the first place.
A commenter on Polygon sarcastically made a remark about the new update making his game worse.
"You forgot the best fix in this patch: Fixed a bug where some players where able to complete entire rounds without crashing, game now crashes at least once every match," said Sandweed.
Battlefield 4's Second Assault DLC will be available on Feb. 18 for the Premium Subscribers of the game on the PS3, PS4, and Xbox 360, and WIndows PC.
According to Polygon, the game will launch for everyone else on March 3.
The DLC will contain four popular maps from Battlefield 3, and they will be remade for the new graphics engine of this game.
The next DLC is Naval Strike, which will be available toward the end of March. Polygon reported it will feature four more maps, new weapons, and vehicles.
Initially there was no official announcement made by DICE or EA concerning the DLC, but early this month the company said they would halt any DLC's or future expansions until they were able to fix some of the problems of the game.
