According to a new report, criminal mastermind Lex Luthor will cause the feud between the Caped Crusader and the Man of Steel when the two DC Comic Superheroes meet in the upcoming Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice film.

JoBlow.com also claims Luthor will convince many people in Metropolis that Superman's innocent nature is an act, and that the alien from Krypton is the biggest threat to humanity.  

The website also reveals that Luthor will appear as a red-head, but it is very possible that that diabolical businessman will cut off his hair and sport his iconic bald look in the new film.

In addition to Luthor causing the rift between DC's most popular protagonists, the heroes will also clash over their methods regarding how each man solves crime in their respective cities.

Superman is generally a goody two shoes (with the exception when he reluctantly killed General Zod in order to save the innocent citizens of Metropolis in the Man of Steel film) when it comes to dealing with villains while Batman is a vigilante willing to do anything to stop evildoers in Gotham City.

As a result, both men are expected to clash with each other before the duo finally forms an alliance with Wonder Woman in the prequel to the forthcoming Justice League film.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent).

In addition, the list of stars that will also appear in the new Warner Bros. movie is as follows: Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto (rumored to play Luthor's personal assistant, bodyguard and hit woman Mercy Graves), and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
