In latest Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice news, Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman outfit has recently been unveiled at this year's San Diego Comic-Con.

In the upcoming film, the former Fast Five and Fast & Furious 6 actress (best known for her role as Gisele Harabo) will make her debut as one of the most popular superheroes in DC Comics history.

The popular Amazon princess (aka Diana Prince) made her comic debut in All Star Comics #8 on December 1941, when she was created by American psychologist, inventor and writer William Moulton Marston.

As a result, Marston was inducted into the Comic Book Hall of Fame eight years ago.

However, the most popular version of Wonder Woman is the iconic television series which starred Lynda Carter from 1975-1979.

Now in 2014, Gadot looks to make a similar impact as the 29-year-old Israeli's character meets Batman and Superman for the first time in cinema history.

"Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal [Gadot] an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character," said film director Zack Snyder in a statement late last year, according to the Variety.

The new Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.

The Batman vs. Superman film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
