Batman vs Superman Movie News, Rumors: Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa Addresses Aquaman Reports (PHOTO)

There are new reports that confirm the appearance of "Game of Thrones" actor Jason Momoa, as "Justice League" member Aquaman in the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice movie.

The 34-year-old Hawaiian actor addressed the rumor regarding his possible role in the upcoming movie at a recent panel when he was asked by an interviewer "Is there any truth to you being in the Man of Steel sequel? There's been a ton of rumors!," when he attended Detroit's Motor City Comic Con recently.

Momoa set the record straight regarding the rumor that he would be playing the aquatic superhero (Aquaman) in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.

"What does everything tell you? No. Stop asking me. It's so annoying. Sorry, you're not annoying," said Momoa, according to a report by IB Times. "Oh you're the press? Get the f*** out of here. Here, put this in there -- you're a d***, you're a d***."

Momoa further expressed his frustration regarding the prevalent rumors surrounding him and the DC character.

"I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?' And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together," said Momoa, according to a HitFix report. "Then people were like, 'He's in 'Batman vs. Superman'!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a****** was like 'He's Aquaman!' And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f**k do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumor."

In addition, Momoa's recent Instagram post further ignited the Aquaman rumor when he took a photo next to a guitar while holding a trident [while he is sticking his middle finger in the photo], which is coincidentally the weapon of choice for the King of Atlantis (Aquaman).

"Stella, Diablo, and me," wrote Momoa on his Instagram page on June 14.

The new Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.

The "Batman vs. Superman" film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
