Batman vs Superman Cast Rumors: Daniel Radcliffe Wants Robin Part in Upcoming ‘Dawn of Justice' Film

Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe revealed in a recent interview that he would love to star as The Dark Knight's sidekick Robin, in the upcoming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film.

The 24-year-old British actor made the statement when he was asked if he would ever want to star in blockbuster film franchise again after his role as Harry Potter catapulted his career into superstardom.

"Batman. If they do that again, I'll do that too. It's happening isn't it?" said Daniel Radcliffe to BuzzFeed. "With Ben Affleck. I could be Robin. I'm perfect."

Radcliffe last appeared in the popular Harry Potter franchise's eighth and final film entitled Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2, which came out three years ago.

Previously, Affleck's close friend and Good Will Hunting co-star Matt Damon was also rumored to play as the Boy Wonder, but he quickly turned that rumor around.

"I'm a little older than Ben," said Damon to People Magazine in an interview earlier this year. "I never saw Robin as older than Batman."

As of right now, Warner Bros. Pictures or its film director Zack Snyder have not confirmed whether or not Robin will appear in the future film in any shape or form.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent).

Additionally, the list of stars that  will also appear in the new Warner Bros. movie is as follows: Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Callan Mulvey, Tao Okamoto (rumored to play Luthor's personal assistant, bodyguard and hit woman Mercy Graves), and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
