Batman vs Superman Movie Cast Rumors: Actor Addresses 'Man of Steel' 2 Joker News

There are reports that suggests Australian actor Callan Mulvey could possibly play as The Joker in the upcoming 'Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice' film.

"Ummm. I can't talk about it," said Mulvey to TMZ in a video. "I can't say anything, man. I'm sworn to secrecy. You're going to have to wait and see."

Last month, film director Zack Snyder announced that Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto would join the all-star cast as new characters in the upcoming film.

"I just had the good fortune to work with Callan on 300: Rise of an Empire and was very impressed with his incredible talent. He's a fantastic actor and I'm looking forward to having the chance to work with him again," said Snyder in a press release when he made the cast announcement on April 3.

The future "Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice" film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White) and Diane Lane (Martha Kent). Additionally, new actors will also appear in the new Warner Bros. film, including Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Academy Award winning actress Holly Hunter, Tao Okamoto and Callan Mulvey.

In other casting rumors Adrien Brody is rumored to be playing the evil clown in the upcoming film. Brody recently addressed The Joker speculation in a recent interview.

"I would do it if I feel I can contribute something valuable and that the role would be interesting to me because they're long journeys. To me, the villains are way fun," said Brody to Metro at the Cannes Film Festival this month. "But they don't offer me those roles. If there is an opportunity to do something like that and play a comic book hero or villain, that's not something I'm fundamentally opposed to."

The "Batman vs. Superman" movie will appear in theaters on May 6, 2016.
