Batman vs Superman Movie Cast News, Rumors: Game of Thrones' Jason Momoa Addresses Aquaman Reports (VIDEO)
Game of Thrones star Jason Momoa (rumored to play Aquaman) revealed which character he'd like to portray in the upcoming Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film.
"I think it would be really, really fun to play a superhero. You know? I've always talked about, like, what's your favorite. I mean I love Lobo so... but ah... You know. It would be awesome," said Momoa at the Evolution Expo, according to the Point of Geeks website report.
The 34-year-old actor from Hawaii also mentioned that he would love to play as one of Marvel Comics' most popular characters in the future.
"I don't know how they do it but... Yea, absolutely I think it would...I just don't really see myself as a superhero. Yeah, no I mean, they're kind of written a little different. I don't know. I just... you know. I'm not wearing a lot of the...I don't see myself in tights a lot. And ah...I'm more of a, I don't know, an anti-hero if you will. In life. So, not the smiling, parading to saving the world kind of guy. Yeah, the Hulk would have been fun!," said Momoa.
Last month, Momoa firmly denied the rumor that claims he would play as the King of Atlantis in the future movie based on the popular DC Comics' characters.
"I think it started when people said 'What superhero would you play?' And I'd say Batman and Superman, they'd be awesome together," said Momoa, according to a HitFix report, "Then people were like, 'He's in 'Batman vs. Superman'!' I'm like, I really like Lobo. 'HE'S LOBO!!' And then some a****** was like 'He's Aquaman!' And I'm like - what did you just call me? Where the f**k do you pull out Aquaman? Seriously... And then it shows up on the Internet. Not that it's a bad rumor."
The new Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice film stars Henry Cavill as Superman, Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams (Lois Lane), Laurence Fishburne (Perry White), Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Diane Lane (Martha Kent), Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Tao Okamoto, Callan Mulvey and Oscar Award winning actress Holly Hunter.
The "Batman vs. Superman" film is expected to arrive in movie theaters on May 6, 2016.
