Batman Arkham Origins Latest News Update: Rumors Indicate Next Game's Villain as Hush (PHOTO)

A social media discovery supports the rumor that a new Batman game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be unveiled soon, and it also hints who might be the main antagonist.

A photo of the DC Comics villain Hush has been posted on the official Batman: Hush Facebook page with the caption: "Remember a little appearance by somebody in Arkham City? Well things may be about to get more interesting next month..."

The Hush Facebook page is controlled by Warner Bros, the Arkham video game series' publisher, suggesting that the rumors of a brand new Batman game being announced soon may be accurate.

Serial killer Hush, previously known as Dr. Thomas Elliot, had a cameo in Batman: Arkham City, and it looks like he will become the major villain for the next installment in the Arkham series.

Until this new title's reveal, gamers can look forward to the upcoming DLC for Batman: Arkham Origins. Batman: Arkham Origins was a 2013 action-adventure video game developed by Warner Bros. Games Montréal and released by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation 3, Wii U and Xbox 360 video game consoles. Based on the legendary DC Comics superhero Batman, it follows the 2011 video game Batman: Arkham City and is the third main installment in the Batman: Arkham Asylum series.

The first two Batman Arkham games were developed by Rocksteady Studios were written by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini and feature voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and Joker from DC Animated Universe.
