Batman Arkham Origins DLC's Get Priority Over Patches and Updates
The Batman: Arkham Origins team is working on the game's newest DLC's rather than focusing on patches to improve the game and fix problems.
"The team is currently working hard on the upcoming story DLC and there currently are no plans for releasing another patch to address the issues that have been reported on the forums," read a statement by Warner Bros Games Montreal.
According to Polygon, they also stated only major changes would be fixed, and they would no longer be addressing "minor issues."
Arkham Origins will not be be getting season pass support for the Wii U version of the game because of the lack of interest of the game on Nintendo.
"Based on demand for DLC content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming all-new story campaign for Wii U," a Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment spokesperson said to Polygon.
People who have purchased the season pass will be refunded their $19.99 for the game through the Nintendo eShop.
Polygon reported that Nintendo sent out an email to all users of the Wii U version of the game.
It reads:
"Thanks so much for your support of Batman: Arkham Origins on Wii U.
We are contacting you today because you purchased the Batman: Arkham Origins Season Pass for Wii U. We hope you've been enjoying the content that has been delivered thus far. Based on demand for Downloadable Content on the system, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has made the decision to remove its offering of the upcoming new story campaign for Wii U. As a result, we will be crediting the entire $19.99+tax cost of the Season Pass back to your Nintendo eShop account. You will still be able to enjoy the content already released thus far.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your support of the game."
