The highly-anticipated next-gen 'Batman: Arkham Knight' game has finally been pegged with an official release date. Previously, the title was delayed from a Fall 2014 launch, but now, fans are excited as they have an actual date to mark on their calendars.
The developers of the game, Rocksteady Studios, announced an official release date of June 2, 2015 over Twitter.

'Batman: Arkham Knight' will supposedly be the last game in the series, however, that is not yet confirmed. The previous titles include, 2009's 'Batman: Arkham Asylum', and its 2011 sequel, 'Batman: Arkham City'.
Last year, a different developer threw its hat into the ring and released a prequel to the series, 'Batman: Arkham Origins'. Even though a different developer took over some of the responsibility of keeping the series alive and current, Rocksteady couldn't make the Fall release date for 'Batman: Arkham Knight'.
For those who are unfamiliar with what this game will bring to the table, a new mysterious character is set to take some of Batman's spotlight. The Arkham Knight is going to hunt down Batman as he goes about his duties of stopping the villains of Gotham City.
