Bargain, Cheap Android Smartphones, Specs Comparison: Moto G, Blu Life Quad Band, Moto E
In a world where technology evolves at an exponential rate, and new devices are constantly coming out, consumers may have a hard time deciding which smartphone is right for them. A comparison of the top three Android based system phones for under $250 should help in that regard.
When thinking about a high quality smartphone for a lower end price, Motorola's Moto G comes to mind. The Moto G has 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 CPU and 1 GB of RAM and it works with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. It is a little over 140 grams in weight and the resolution of its 4.5 inch LCD screen reaches 1280x720. It also comes equipped with 2 cameras, one 5 MP rear and a 1.3 MP front one. The storage is between 8 and 16 GB to which you can add microSD or 4G LTE at the price of only $220.
Beyond that, another option is the smaller version of the aforementioned device, the Moto E. It has a dual-core Snapdragon 200 CPU and qHD display of 4.3 inches with a 540x960 resolution. However, this phone only has one camera, a 5 MP rear one. It comes with 4 GB storage with microSD, runs 4.4 Android Kit Kat, and costs $130 on Amazon.
Both of these Motorola phones come with exchangeable back plates that are available in various colors.
Lastly, stepping away from Motorola phones, the Blu Life Quad Band, is a popular choice by many tech aficionados.
An absolute delight for a smartphone user may be the Blu Life Quad Band. It comes with a 5 inch display and a 720x1280 resolution, and higher mega pixel cameras than the two devices mentioned above. The rear camera has 13 MP and the front has 5 MP, evidently a major difference.
The device also comes with GPRS and EDGE Class 12, but also with a 4.2 Android Jelly Bean system with UI customization. The price for this phone is $215 on Amazon.
Ultimately the decision is up to what the consumer needs in a smartphone, and besides these, there's many options to choose from.
