Baltimore Ravens vs Indianapolis Colts 2014 NFL Preview: Joe Flacco vs Andrew Luck Game Overview
The Baltimore Ravens goes toe-to-toe against the Indianapolis Colts on October 5 at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The Ravens (3-1) are looking to win their fourth consecutive game when QB Joe Flacco and the rest of the Baltimore squad battles the Colts at 'The Hoosier State' this Sunday.
"I would have to say that I was impressed with it before all this came about," said Ravens head coach John Harbaugh to reporters.
"Sometimes they say football reveals character. It's galvanized us in some ways. We've been through a fire. It either makes you or breaks you. I feel good about that."
The Ravens recently dominated the Carolina Panthers on September 28 by a final score of 38-10, after Flacco threw for 327 yards which was highlighted by three touchdown passes.
"I didn't have anything good, bad or indifferent to say. I just played. At the end of the day, honestly they didn't deserve anything I had to say that would be derogatory -- and I didn't need to," said Ravens WR Steve Smith to reporters after receiving two TD passes against his former team.
"They didn't even deserve me to spin the ball on them. I just caught it and put it down and went about my business."
Meanwhile, the Colts (2-2) are looking to extend their winning streak to three, after their recent win versus the Tennessee Titans by 41-17 this past Sunday.
Colts QB Andrew Luck carried his team to victory after he threw for 393 yards, highlighted by four impressive touchdown passes against the Titans.
"He's in the zone right now," said Colts head coach Chuck Pagano to reporters in reference to Luck's recent performance.
"Anytime you go out there and play fast and you're not thinking, usually the result is the numbers, you know the yards and touchdowns he's producing right now."
The upcoming game will start at 1:00 pm ET and can be watched on TV via the CBS network.
