Bad Grandpa Movie Release Date Weekend Tops Box Office Ratings: New Jackass Movie is an Elaborate Joke [TRAILER]

The crew from Jackass is back with an all new comedy expanding on the scene where the cast dresses up as elderly people. The scene started in the first Jackass movie when Johnny Knoxville, the leader of the gang, dressed up as an old man and proceeded to run his scooter into cars, fall down stairs, etc.

The new film from the guys at Jackass is called Bad Grandpa. It follows Knoxville as he and his grandson go out into the world to cause trouble. The storyline here is not the important part (even though it does have a storyline.) The important part is the ridiculous trouble the two get into. Marshall Fine from the Huffington Post puts it best. He says, "I won't for a minute attempt to make an argument for Bad Grandpa as an actually movie which, in a way, it's trying to be. But not really: It's more like the way Borat was an actually movie, telling a story with a fictional character interacting with real people, who don't understand that they've become part of an elaborate movie joke."

The story centers on Knoxville as an 86-year-old crank who makes fart jokes and destroys other people's property. Bad Grandpa differs from Jackass in one small, but significant way: Knoxville can afford to be a little more daring in his old man get up because he really does LOOK like an old man and so people treat him as such.
