'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Idris Elba Reveals Possible Storyline for Marvel’s Upcoming Film [VIDEO]

As if the trailer of 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' weren't enough to surprise the fans, they were shocked once again when British actor Idris Elba recently revealed that both his character as well as super-villain Loki (played by Tom Heimdall) will be returning in Marvel's 2015 sequel.

This revelation has led many fans to wonder how these two characters will be accommodated in the story, which mainly focuses on the antagonist Ultron.

Idris Elba revealed the news during a recent interview with the Telegraph. He revealed that a scene in the upcoming movie will feature him together with actor Chris Hemsworth, who portrays Thor, the god of thunder and rain, and Tom Hiddleston, who plays the role of the Norse god Loki.

Since Idris Elba revealed the news numerous theories regarding the appearance of Loki and Heimdall has been flooding the Internet. A report by Movie Pilot says that the answer to this may be found in the video clip from 'Avengers: Age of Ultron', which was exclusively released during a Marvel event recently. In the clip, viewers can see Chris Evans (Captain America) and Robert Downey Jr (Iron Man) engaged in an intense argument while talking about the disappearance of Thor. They also mentioned that their dreadful visions may become true.

The report also suggests that Loki and Heimdall may actually appear in Thor's vision, where he sees Loki ruling the kingdom of Asgard. This possibly elucidates why Thor disappears from Earth when he is needed by his superhero friends intensely. According to Movie Pilot, there is a possibility that Thor leaves for Asgard to meet his brother head on. In fact, all this events and probably some more may see the commencement of the events of 'Thor: Ragnarok'.

The website talks about another possibility and that is Loki and Heimdall may not appear in the movie until the after-credits scene of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. Taking into account the fact that Loki will be appearing in 'Thor 3', the report also hypothesizes that the scene Idris Elba talked about is likely to be the 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' post-credit scene. However, during an interview with Entertainment Weekly in 2013, Tom Hiddleston confirmed that Loki will not be returning to the sequel.

'Avengers: Age Of Ultron' is slated for release on May 1, 2015.
