'Avengers: Age of Ultron' News: Mark Ruffalo Talks Next Hulk Appearance in the MCU

All those that have seen 'Avengers: Age of Ultron,' will recognize that the Hulk character's fate was pretty much left as a question mark.

Actor Mark Ruffalo still has four more movies in his contract for the character, so it is certainly not the last time we see the character, but as to where he'll end up next is still a matter of discussion. In an interview with Collider, Ruffalo states:

"I think it's four [movies] now. But that could always go further... I could show up in another character's movie. I could do Avengers 3 and 4, I could do a Hulk standalone - like any combination of those things. Up to four or five."

It's been speculated that he might pop back up in 'Captain America: Civil War,' however with it being this late in the game, this may be highly unlikely.

"I don't know that I'm in it yet," Ruffalo comments, "But sometimes these things happen at the last minute in this world. I really don't know where I fit in from here on out, and I'm not sure they do. In terms of a stand-alone Hulk movie, Marvel doesn't really have the rights to that yet; that's still Universal's property. So there's that issue."

While the actor commonly stated that there was no solo Hulk film in the future, he is now recognizing it as a possibility.

The Hulk can work well in a good amount of Marvel properties, so at the very least we know he'll pop back up again on us soon. 'Avengers: Infinity Wars' is most likely are best bet at the moment, but it has been rumored he could somehow be worked into 'Guardians of the Galaxy 2.'
