Avengers 2: Age of Ultron Movie Cast News: Hulk Special Effects Help From 'Lord of the Rings' Andy Serkis

"Avengers 2 Age of Ultron" actor Mark Ruffalo revealed in a recent tweet that he will be getting some advice from "Lord of the Rings" star Andy Serkis on how to reprise his role as the Incredible Hulk by using motion capture.

"@Captaian_jack Well, I have been working with the great @andyserkis on the big green boy and he is going to be even better then A1.," wrote Ruffalo via his Twitter account on April 25.

Andy Serkis has a long history of giving remarkable performances on the big screen using special effects, most notably as the greedy Gollum in Peter Jackson "Lord of the Rings" trilogy films.

In addition, Serkis has also played as the villainous chimpanzee ruler Cesar in the "Planet of the Apes" reboot films (Rise of the Planet of the Apes in 2011). Serkis will reprise his role as the Ape ruler when "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes" is released this year on July 11.

Serkis has also just recently announced that he will join the cast in the new "Star War Episode 7" film that will be released in theater next year.

Ruffalo featured as Dr. Bruce Banner and his alter ego, The Incredible Hulk, in the original "Marvel's The Avengers" back in 2012.

Ruffalo's co-star Robert Downey Jr will return as Iron Man to lead the all-star cast against Ultron.

Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Chris Evans (Captain America), and Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow) are among the numerous actors set to reprise their roles when the smash hit returns to the big screen on May 1, 2015.
