Avengers 2 Release Date, Plot and Cast Rumors: 3 Versions of Evil Villain Coming in New Movie

The highly anticipated comeback of the famous Marvel superhero team will hit theatres this coming April 23, 2015 in Hong Kong with the new movie, Avengers 2: Age of Ultron. Big stars are rumored to be part of the cast as their photos are continuously spread on media outlets by fans and supporters.

Recently, some students at the University of East Anglia in Norwich spotted Avengers Director Joss Whedon with his superstar cast, shooting scenes for the upcoming movie with their stunt doubles and the whole film crew present.

The only assurance so far is the teaser in the credits of Captain America: The Winter Soldier, where it is noted that siblings Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch will be played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olson.

According to the latest update about the new movie, there may be three versions of the antagonist Ultron, including his original state and his continuously evolving version. The infamous villain, who must be stopped by the assembly of superheroes, will be played by James Spader.

Spader's name on the bill was a surprise, especially with him starring in the new NBC series Blacklist which airs this Fall.

Others thought that Paul Bettany, the voice of JARVIS may be playing Ultron because some witnesses, at the latest Comic-Con, saw one of Iron Man's armored suits transform into Ultron. This has no truth to it of course, as Director Whedon has already announced Spader's name for the role of Ultron.

Another exciting possibility is that the Hulk may have his chance to get back on the big screen in another Hulk movie. This was predicted due to Mark Ruffalo's astounding impact on fans in The Avengers film, compared to previous Hulks roles by Ang Lee in 2003, and Louis Leterrier for his own, The Incredible Hulk

"I think they are, for the first time, entertaining the idea of it. When we did The Avengers it was basically 'No!', and now there is some consideration for it," said Ruffalo to Digital Spy.

Reports say that Avengers 2 Age: of Ultron sets a goal to outperform the first installment of The Avengers which stands as the third-highest-grossing film of all time.
