In the latest 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' news, film director Joss Whedon revealed some important information regarding the relationship of Robert Downey and Mark Ruffalo's iconic superhero characters nicknamed 'The Science Bros' in the new movie.

"It makes sense because there's no one who can really go up against Hulk, but more importantly, those guys are best friends, so what that battle is and what it means is fascinating to me," said Whedon to Empire Magazine.

In addition, Whedon and Marvel Studios chief Kevin Feige also addressed the teaser art drawing and the San Diego Comic-Con video that hinted that Iron Man will battle his friend The Hulk, the monster that Dr. Bruce Banner morphs into when he gets angry.

"It's a bespoke suit. The back-up plan in case things go awry," said Feige.

Whedon agrees with Feige's assessment of Iron Man's unique armor which he uses in the worst case scenario when he has to battle the green protagonist/ anti-hero with a Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde complex.

"The Hulkbuster [suit] is from after my time [as a reader], but even I knew what a big deal it was," said Whedon.

He went on to mention, "It makes sense because there's no one who can really go up against Hulk, but more importantly, those guys are best friends, so what that battle is and what it means is fascinating to me."

In the first 'Marvel's The Avengers' film, the uncontrollable Hulk previously battled his ally Thor in the blockbuster movie two years ago.

Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (Incredible Hulk), James Spader (Ultron), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) are among the numerous actors set to appear in the movie when the blockbuster series returns on May 1, 2015.
