Avengers 2 Age of Ultron Movie Cast, Plot News: Incredible Hulk Will Have Major Role in Upcoming Film

In a recent interview, Mark Ruffalo talked about his character, The Incredible Hulk, and the major role's screen time in the upcoming Avengers: Age of Ultron movie.

"[My role's] even bigger than last time, and it's more complex and it has more layers and a bit more arc," said Ruffalo to Total Film magazine.

The 46-year-old actor has had much experience in the use special effects due to roles he's played in certain films. Ruffalo was excited to mention, "I'm really tripping on the technology of this motion-capture stuff... now I just completely embrace it and see it as this other exciting place we can go as performers."

Previously, Ruffalo went on social media to reveal he will be working with legendary motion capture actor Andy Serkis (Gollum) of "Lord of the Rings" fame, when he (Ruffalo) reprises his role as the Incredible Hulk in the next installment of the popular Marvel movie.

"@Captaian_jack Well, I have been working with the great @andyserkis on the big green boy and he is going to be even better then A1," wrote Ruffalo via his Twitter account on April 25.

Ruffalo made his debut as the Incredible Hulk in the original "Marvel's The Avengers" movie in 2012.

Ruffalo's role as mild-mannered scientist Bruce Banner (and his alter ego The Incredible Hulk) was first created by legendary Marvel Comics writers Stan Lee and Jack Kirby back in 1962.

Ruffalo's co-star Robert Downey Jr will return as Iron Man to lead the all-star cast against a major threat named Ultron, a robot bent on causing total destruction to Earth and its iconic Marvel superheroes.

Samuel L. Jackson (Nick Fury), Scarlett Johansson (Black Widow), Chris Evans (Captain America), James Spader (Ultron), Elizabeth Olsen (Scarlett Witch), Aaron Taylor-Johnson (Quicksilver), Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye) and Chris Hemsworth (Thor) are among the numerous actors set to appear in the movie when the blockbuster series returns on May 1, 2015.
