Audio Adrenaline's Hands & Feet Project Looks to Help Orphans with Haiti Made Brand Products; Kickstarter Launch Begins Today
Audio Adrenaline's The Hands & Feet Project is coming out with Haiti Made, a brand that will create quality products and help fund the orphans of the country, and the group is looking to Kickstarter to begin the organization.
Hands & Feet is hoping Haiti Made will create jobs in the nation's rough economy, and still serve the people with hope.
"One of our growing convictions as we continue to provide help, is the need to also provide solutions," said Mark Stuart, co-founder and Executive Director of Hands & Feet Project and also the former lead singer of Audio A in a press release, "A few months ago a few of us from Hands & Feet came together and developed a product line. Haiti Made is not only going to give our children a transitional period where they can learn important vocational skills but also employ marginalized groups all over south Haiti and hopefully, some day, across the whole island."
The goal for the Kickstarter campaign is to raise $20,000 for the cause. With this money Hands & Feet will be be able to get all of the required equipment and funds to get the ball rolling on this brand.
"There is so much potential in Haiti and all we're doing is gathering together to raise money to help unlock that potential. The future is bright! What if instead of more charity and more giving to the people of Haiti, we started to buy from them, and in doing so we deliver hope and dignity? That's what Haiti Made is all about," said Rob Murray, the project manager of Haiti Made.
