Attack on Titan Release Date August 2014: 'The Future Taken for Granted Was Broken by the Attack of the Titans'

The second season of the 'Attack on Titan' was confirmed on July 26; following the confirmation, the novel of one of the most anticipated anime has also been confirmed to be released on August 1. The 33rd issue of from the Kodansha's Weekly, the Sh?nen Magazine, confirmed that a new 'Attack on Titan' Novel will be released on August 1, according to the AnimeNewsNetwork's post on the 11th of July.

Hajime Isayama, a Japanese manga artist, has been included in the credits of the novel. He is the creator of the original 'Attack on Titan' that recounts the battles that took place between human beings and the giants who are now ruling the world outside the walled enclaves of humanities last stand.

The original manga by Hajime has inspired a television anime series that was a big hit. It also is the inspiration for two upcoming anime movies and is the subject of a live action film that is to be released soon.

Several spin offs and manga novels have been born, based on this original 'Attack on Titan' Novel.

Out of the two volumes of the Kakuzetsu Toshi no J?? by Ry? Kawakami, the first part will be released on August 1. Range Murata, of the Shangri-La, Last Exile and Blue Submarine No. 6, will be illustrating this novel.

"The future that was taken for granted was broken by the attack of the Titans," says the Kodansha Publishing, describing the novel. The novel is set to be released with a tagline of, 'Can people really be this cruel...'
