The Atlanta Falcons goes head-to-head against their NFC South foes the Baltimore Ravens on October 19 at M&T Bank Stadium, Baltimore, Maryland.

The Falcons (2-4) are trying to step up their game in the upcoming matchup when they face-off against the Ravens this Sunday.

Atlanta suffered a devastating defeat at the hands of the Chicago Bears on October 12 by a score of 27-13.

Falcons' QB Matt Ryan was 19 of 37 for 271 yards, including a late interception, although he seemed like a one-man team during some parts of the game.

"We've got a tough stretch coming up," Ryan said to reporters after the game, "We can't worry about it. We can't complain about it. We've got to find a way to get it done."

Ryan's receivers surely didn't help the cause, as they dropped at least seven passes. Also, their depleted offensive line surrendered four sacks. The Falcons ended up rushing for just 42 yards on 13 carries.

On the other hand, the Baltimore Ravens (4-2) are looking to keep their team on the right track when they face-off against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.

The Ravens ran over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on October 12 by a score of 48-17.

Baltimore coach John Harbaugh is evidently proud of his squad this year as he said, "You're going to find out this is a very good football team,"

Ravens QB Flacco threw for five touchdowns in just over 16 minutes to set the tone of the game while leaving the Bucs struggling.

"To play the way we did in a game that's kind of a business game, a game we need to win to do the things we want to do, it speaks a lot to who we are as a football team," Harbaugh added.

Flacco had some fun with this one as he said to reporters after the victory, "It was very enjoyable. You don't get those too often in this league. ... It was pretty crazy," adding, "It happened so quickly. It was such an awkward situation, but it was definitely fun for us."
