An innocent video of a four year-old boy shouting out to Jesus for help with the weather has gone viral and has sparked an online debate between Atheist and Christians.

All the boy wanted was to play outside, but after 10 minutes of shoveling snow in the cold weather that has swept over the East Coast, he felt defeated.

"Jesus, make it warm!" he shouted.

Unfortunately the innocent comment was ill received by Atheist and they immediately took to YouTube to comment of their disapproval.

One typed, "In all honesty the key to having what u want out of life isn't by praying to god... If you're not a fan of SNOW u should simply move to where it doesn't snow..." Another adding, "I have nothing against religious people, but when I see a 4 year old who cannot think for himself, I think brainwashing."

Some comments have left people puzzled as to how anyone could be angry with the video."This is priceless! Exactly how I feel! How can you dislike this?" another posted attempting to make peace.

Christians took to defend the boy's comments."I am so thankful that a 4year old little boy know WHO to call on to make it warm.JESUS!!!?" read one post.

Another said, "Awwww such a sweet young man and a blessing i'm sure to his parents!!! God heard ya hunny, Spring is coming...hang in there!!!!?"

Most of the comments involved explicit language directed towards the young boy's remark and blasting his parents. The YouTube video ignited full on debate between believers and non-believers. Some believed the comments against the statement were intolerant and hateful while others said the child was being indoctrinated.

Far and in between a post would remind everyone that the video was of a harmless child and meant to bring humor and joy not a religious dispute. "Someone always has to be negative. It's a cute video not a religious debate...btw...I agree. I'm sick of the snow and cold little dude?"" Keep the faith little guy!!! How cute?," someone wrote.
