Asus ZenWatch Release Date News: Device Specific Apps on Google Play Store Spark Launch Rumors
The Asus ZenWatch release date is expected to happen soon after the availability of applications for the device appeared on the Google Play Store.
The Asus ZenWatch Manager application has a number of functions that help set up the device. It helps the wearer change the watch face to match his or her style, use a variety of convenient features, and quickly send a message from the watch.
The Manager application also helps the wearer use a variety of convenient features such as "Cover to Mute," "Unlock My Phone," and "Find My Phone."
The Remote Camera application of the Asus ZenWatch allows the user to access his phone's camera viewfinder through the watch. It can be set to take photos with unique angles.
The other application for the watch is the Asus Wellness, which has health tracking features like heart rate, steps, relaxation levels, calories burned and overall wellness states, according to iDigital Times.
As it stands, the three applications for the watch are downloadable for free.
There are only 300 Asus ZenWatches coming to Taiwan in November and the availability may still be limited when it launches.
The price of the watch is not yet confirmed, but since the Asus ZenWatch is on par with the Moto 360 and LG G Watch R, it will most likely be around $250 to $300, iDigital Times reported.
Meanwhile, the MB Chronowing that stems from HP's stable will be launching on November 7.
The smart wristwatch of HP looks like a luxury men's watch rather than a smartwatch, it is made of stainless steel and has two editions.
The standard edition comes with three interchangeable bands in brown leather, olive nylon and black rubber. The limited edition has sapphire crystal glass face, just like Apple Watch, and an alligator strap.
