'Assassin's Creed: Unity' has finally come out with it's fourth patch due to all of the complaints about bugs and glitches from the game's player base.

Ubisoft went ahead and released the update's patch notes on the game's official website. It's clear that the company is trying to ensure that the content they are releasing actually addresses the issues that the players are having with the game.

"Rigorous quality control is of paramount importance to us, and your feedback over these past weeks has indicated that it is important to you as well," Ubisoft's statement on Tuesday read.

The patch has been developed to fix the performance issues reported by players. Most of the bugs were related to the Paris map, which the developers have refurbished. The team has also enhanced the frame rate by replacing and updating parts of the said map. The patch size totals to 6.7GB.

Although gamers might complain about the massive update, Ubisoft has stated that "a large portion of the patch replaces existing files the net increase to the game's overall size will be less than 6.7 GB."

Patch 4 has updated the game's performance and stability, fixing the frame rate drops, game crashes, and lost of progress in the game. The patch also included a fix on the gameplay, especially its navigation and lock picking chests. Connectivity and matchmaking has also been resolved, together with its companion app.

On Nov. 26, the company has made an apology to its gamers regarding the "rough" performance of the game in the previous month. CEO of Ubisoft Montreal & Toronto Yannis Mallat wrote the apology himself.

"At launch, the overall quality of the game was diminished by bugs and unexpected technical issues," Mallat stated, "I want to sincerely apologize on behalf of Ubisoft and the entire Assassin's Creed team. These problems took away from your enjoyment of the game, and kept many of you from experiencing the game at its fullest potential."

'Assassin's Creed' Patch 4 has been made available for Xbox One and PS4 platforms. On that note, the update for PC will roll out later in the week.
