Let the swashbuckling begin! The Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag release date October 29, is already a day old, which means serious fans have already dove right in to the epic new pirate storyline.
Ubisoft recently confirmed the extra DLC available for the PlayStation 3 would be exlusive to the Sony console. Rumors have circulated the Internet claiming the DLC would be available for other consoles six months after the release.
Ubisoft told Eurogamer that the extra 60 minutes of Aveline levels would only be features on the PS3 and PS4 consoles.
What does the DLC PS4 pack include? Fans of the franchise remember Aveline de Grandpre from the PS Vita title Assassin's Creed: Liberation. Well, for the PS4-exclusive DLC pack, gamers will have access to three missions that feature an older Aveline.
Will the highly anticipated Watch Dogs game also have exclusive content for the next-gen Sony console? No word from Ubisoft of whether Watch Dogs will get the same treatment. It's rumored that the DLC would be available to other consoles six months after it's release.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag was released to PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PC on October 29. The next-gen version will be released once the PS4 and Xbox One launch.
