Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag PS4 Patch Now Live; 2.3 GB Update Fixes 100 Friend Cap and Reward Skins Problems
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag received a 2.3 GB single player update to the PS4 version of the game today that is supposed to fix connection issues, and introduce tutorials for streaming as well as other features.
Polygon reported that the patch will fix an error that occurs to PS4 users with over 100 friends, and will also fix a bug that did not give reward skins.
This patch arrives before Title Update 4, a multiplayer patch that will go live for PS3, PS4, Xbox One, and 360 on February 11.
Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag's Illustrious Pirates DLC is now available for $7 in North America for the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
If the gamer already has the Season's Pass for the game, then this new download is free. According to Ubisoft's Blog, tomorrow the rest of the world will get the Sony console DLC's as the Microsoft systems will see a global release later today. The Windows PC version will go worldwide tomorrow as well.
The DLC will come with three different single player outfits, weapons, customizable options, and new missions.

Black Flag's last DLC was Freedom Cry, which was released on December 17.
"For Adéwale, freedom isn't just a vague concept. The charismatic quartermaster who co-starred alongside Edward Kenway in Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag was once enslaved himself - until he forged his own path to freedom, then turned to a life of piracy and eventually embraced the Creed. And now he's taking center stage in the story-driven single-player DLC Freedom Cry, which will be out on December 17 on PS4, Xbox One, PS3, Xbox 360 and PC," a post on the Ubisoft blog said.
"Set 15 years after the end of Black Flag, Freedom Cry stars an older Adewale, who has since stepped out of Kenway's shadow to become a seasoned Assassin and valued member of the Brotherhood," Ubisoft communications manager Gary Steinman wrote in the post.
The DLC is $9.99, reported Polygon.
