‘Assassin’s Creed: Unity’ Patch 3 Details: Third Update to Game Resolves Bugs, Glitches, Issues

Gamers can expect updates and improvements to 'Assassin's Creed: Unity' as Ubisoft will be releasing their Patch 3, or third update, for the game on Nov. 26.

After 'Assassin's Creed Unity' was released earlier this month, players have complained about the numerous technical and performance issues present in the game.

Users claimed "crazy low" frame rates, bugs, pop-ins and difficulties with the gameplay that make it impossible to even climb a wall. In response, Ubisoft released Patch 1 and 2 to correct some of the bugs and glitches, while also claiming that a third was in the works.

The announcement for the Patch 3 has been made via Ubisoft's official page for 'Assassin's Creed'. Patch 3 will contain over 300 fixes and improvements to the game and will be ready to deploy on the game consoles, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.

Some fixes from the Patch 3 for 'Assassin's Creed: Unity' will include: improvements in Stability and Performance, which will come with improved task scheduling and fixing crashes during the Campaign and Co-op modes; Gameplay for Navigation, Fight and Stealth, which will fix issues with cover, camera, animation and players getting stuck in the middle of movement; and AI and Crowd.

There will also be improvements made to Matchmaking, Connectivity, and Replication to fix menus and gameplay progress; Menus and HUD for the errors to the credits, menu customization; Mission Tweaks for the navigation issues; World and 3D; and Progression and Difficulty.

Lastly were some PC-specific improvements to help users playing who were faced with game corruption, graphics corruption, blurry effects, windows-switching, and more.

A more detailed list of changes has been made available on Ubisoft's 'Assassin's Creed' Patch 3 forums.

Ubisoft also added that fixes to the game's frame rate is still being developed, but is underway, and that they are already working on Patch 4.
