'Assassin's Creed Rogue' Release Date PS3, Xbox 360: Leaked Trailer Says New Title Arrives on Nov. 11 [VIDEO]

A recently leaked trailer revealed that 'Assassin's Creed Rogue' will be arriving on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on November 11. This exciting news follows the listing posted by a retailer last week.

In fact, Access the Animus has obtained a few images for the supposed game, which were taken from the trailer. The images boast the 'Assassin's Creed Rogue' box art in addition to showcasing one of the playable settings in the game, somewhere in the Arctic.

While developer Ubisoft has yet to make a formal announcement regarding the game, it appears that 'Assassin's Creed Rogue' will carry on with the trend of combining sea and land based gameplay. Going by the rumors, it seems that the player will be able to explore the vast reaches of the Atlantic Ocean, as a newly introduced character, said to be named Shay Patric Cormac, is not only a sailor, but a Templar too.

Described as a "crucial link" in the Kenway family storyline, the game has been set between 'Black Flag' and 'Assassin's Creed 3' during the Seven Years' War, and will also feature various locations, including the Appalachian River Valley and New York.

In addition, the leaked trailer also validated the DLC for 'Assassin's Creed Rogue', but considering that the developer is Ubisoft, this is not at all unexpected. It is also believed that the new game will also have some kind of "Season Pass." The trailer emphasized The Ultimate Hunter Pack, which makes available the in-game latest weapons, ship sails, as well as a ship wheels.

Earlier believed to be 'Assassin's Creed Comet', the new game is set to release on current-gen consoles Xbox 360 and PS3. Previously, the publisher confirmed that two Assassin's Creed titles would debut this year, one of which is 'Assassin's Creed Unity' for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
