‘Assassin’s Creed: Rogue’ PC Release Date Confirmed: Set to Arrive Early 2015
Ubisoft has been tight-lipped about the release of the highly-anticipated AC title, 'Assassin's Creed Rogue' on the PC. However, fans can now rest assured as the game will definitely be available on Windows PC coming early 2015.
"Yes, the PC version is coming out early 2015. PC fans who enjoyed Assassin's Creed 3 and Assassin's Creed 4 Black Flag will be able to discover the missing links between these two epic stories with Assassin's Creed Rogue," a Ubisoft spokesperson told Eurogamer.
Meanwhile, it looks like the future is grim for the game to arrive on next-generation consoles like PS4 and Xbox One.
When asked whether Ubisoft is planning to make an Xbox One or PS4 version of 'Assassin's Creed Rogue', an insider from the game developer kept quiet, but said in an interview with IGN, "We can't talk about this right now."
IGN also revealed information about the game's setting, "All I can tell you is that we'll have a modern day part of the game, it's yours to discover in a few weeks," according to Ubisoft Sofia managing director Ivan Balabanov.
Moving forward, the story trailer reveals details of Shay Patrick Cormac's life through the eyes of the Assassins.
Gamers will play as Shay, the young Assassin who betrayed his brotherhood, siding with the Templars and hunts down his former brothers-where he is taken to different places like New York City and the Arctic.
The trailer features new characters like Shay's childhood best friend and comrade from the Assassin brotherhood, Liam O'Brien. It will be an interesting turn of events when Shay turns away from the Brotherhood and pledges allegiance to the Templars and is compelled to put down his friend.
Another character to look forward to is Hope Jensen, another former comrade who was trained by Achilles Davenport and an important part in the Brotherhood's operations in New York City.
Meanwhile, Kesegowaase is a Native American Assassin known to be lethal with the use of Tomahawks.
'Assassin's Creed Rogue', together with 'Assassins Creed Unity' releases on PS3 and Xbox 360 on November 11, while a PC version will be available in early 2015.
