Assassin's Creed 5 Unity Latest News, Update: Rob Zombie Directed Short Film Based on the Game Coming to Comic Con (VIDEO)
As 'Assassin's Creed 5 Unity' is looming in the immediate future, fans of the game's franchise have something to look forward to in the form of an animated short film.
According to Polygon, the cartoon will be made by Rob Zombie and Tony Moore, and it will be based on the upcoming game.
The report states that the short will be shown during a Q&A session at Comic Con on July 25 from 2 P.M. to 3 P.M., along with new information about a another Ubisoft title that is forthcoming.
'Assassin's Creed 5: Unity' will be taking advantage of Next-gen capabilities says Ubisoft Chairman in a recent interview.
CEO Yves Guillemot spoke about the Unity's game play whether it's solo or multiplayer, on the Ubisoft blog.
"You want liberty," Guillemot told Ubisoft's blog, "When you want to play solo, you play solo. If you want to play with your friends, then you let them come join you. The seamless solo/multiplayer is something that we've developed and that will continue to grow in the next few years."
He further commented on the game's amazing new features via the PS4 and Xbox One. He promises that this next Assassin's Creed game will take the series to another level.
"What I saw from the beginnings of this industry was, during those console shifts, there are lots of opportunities," Guillemot said, "Each time a new console is coming, there are lots of opportunities to create new brands or new types of gameplay - to change the worlds players are spending their time in."
He continued, "It's a game that takes full advantage of the new gen. It's really a good demonstration of what those machines can do. And people are amazed. They didn't expect those machines to deliver that level of graphics and animation quality, the depth of the number of people that can move in the environment, and so on. It's helping the brand to have a new beginning with totally different possibilities."
The company said the PS4, Xbox One, and PC versions will all be released in unison with one another on October 28.
