Assassin's Creed 5 Unity Release Date Delayed? Ubisoft Not Afraid to 'Bring Quality' Game to PS4 and Xbox One (TRAILER)
Assassin's Creed 5 Unity's release date could be delayed according to the Ubisoft president.
"You bring something fresh, but you have to bring quality too," said Laurent Detoc, Ubisoft's North American President, to Polygon. KPopStarz suggests that because quality is a concern, the game could be delayed. Game developers have to look no further than the problems with Battlefield 4. Perhaps the game should have been delayed and worked on more.
Assassin's Creed 5 Unity will launch with an accompanying book called Abstergo Industries Employee Handbook, and it will reveal secrets and add extra information about the game series.
According to GamingBolt, the Employee Handbook, will be released on Nov. 4, and is written by Christie Golden. The reason it is in handbook format is it was easier to organize. Other features include illustrations and details that have been frequently throughout the series. Some of the book will cover story-line and narrative to fill in plot holes and more.
In other news, Assassin's Creed Unity has been rumored to feature a four player co-op campaign mode as an alternative to a regular single player version.
According to Polygon, this new co-op mode will be featured alongside the single player campaign at this year's E3 conference.
Unity was recently announced by Ubisoft along with another game in the franchise, Comet. Unity is coming to Xbox One and PS4 and will take place during the French Revolution, Comet will be for the Xbox 360 and PS3.
Polygon reported early screenshots suggest the game will be in Paris because of shots of the Notre-Dame Cathedral and the Seine River.
